Road Trip

Manila-Dagupan-Baguio-San Fabian-Binangonan-Dagupan-Manila

.Manila.

Six of the eight people in the trip met up in UST and were escorted via Sarah's dad from UST to the bus station of Victory Liner in Cubao. The other two, who were Mau and Simon, met up at Gateway and sadly, they experienced some inconvenience so it took some time before they met up with up on the bus station but when they arrived at almost 11 we took the earliest bus we can, the 10:40 am bus to Dagupan so our journey started.

.Dagupan.

We were welcomed by Lui's dad who was really friendly and patient with us. Though we were tired, we knew that there are lots of things that we could still do on our short stay but today, we decided to just cool it and take things slowly. After harvesting some mangoes from Lui's backyard and eating it on their terrace. We watched Sweeney Todd in the evening and had some fortune telling session, courtesy of Simon.

.Baguio.

At an early hour, we woke up and prepared for our road trip to Baguio, we met Kuya July, who is our driver thanks to Lui's dad. :) We stayed on a cabin courtesy of Lui's aunt this time. The cabin was big and comfortable! The place is cold and you don't need an aircon or an electric fan to refreshen yourself in the summer heat! We went to different places and admittedly, the cold weather and the beautiful sceneries are a great combination! At around 6, we went home to cook dinner: fried chicken, mash potato, gravy and mushroom soup. We had dinner at 9 and the others drank alcohol till 3am, I didn't join them since I wasn't allowed by my mom! :D

.San Fabian and Binangonan.

We stayed in Baguio till 12 in the morning and left to go to San Fabian in Pangasinan. The journey leaving Baguio, especially our cabin is a sad one as we were all at 'home' there and I won't deny than the place had the most welcoming aura of all and I couldn't help but feel sad leaving it. We stayed at San Fabian for the afternoon, it is in Lui's uncle's place. They were old people, kind and welcoming. The beach has a black sand and sadly, we didn't take a dip as we saw some stray jelly fish on the shore which isn't really inviting. But we collected some shells and they buried my feet on the sand which was fun. I guess the fun isn't in swimming, but on how we spend our time together. :) Later this night, we went to Binangonan to meet up with Lui's mom. Lui's dad picked us up from San Fabian and left us at Binangonan, there Lui's mom greeted us and we were showed around their home. It was a nice place and I searched Lui's room for pics and stuff and I found some! haha! Lui's looks like Pat, her lil' sis when she was younger! :) Her mom made us have dinner in a restaurant and the food was great, I had a second serving or calamares! Love it! :) We went home early as we were tired and weary from the journey.

.Dagupan.

We went home early, meaning we didn't stay to long but it was really late. We went to the bus station at around 1pm but we had a photo op earlier that morning and below this text is one of the many pictures we had at that time! It was really fun and admittedly, a moment that I want to treasure for the rest of my life. It's Mau's birthday by the way (Happy birthday Mau!!!). I couldn't help but laugh as I feel my body give away from fatigue yet in the back of my mind... "This ain't the last time I'll be here"

.Manila.

So we all went to the bus station with Lui escorting us... it was a bit sad as we boarded the bus and knowing that the four days of fun is ending... we had Lui take a picture of us from outside the bus so this is the outcome... I couldn't help but feel a bit sad that we're going but then again, we have a new home to go to when we're in Dagupan, so why do I have to be sad?

I know that I just typed a lot of places and I could assure you that traveling from one place to another can be really tiring.. and the most tiring fact is that we did it within four days... how? I don't know how, myself. Everything just happened!
